The Visa rejection to modi is quite unfortunate. Personally I believe he should be behind bars for instigating religious riots. However, the grounds for his visa rejections make me quite uncomfortable. I dont think US is going to reject visa to any saudi prince eventhough no other religion other than islam can be practised in saudi. Further, as Prime minister Manmohan singh has put it, it is not for US to decide upon a constitutionally elected representative of a state to be fit or not to enter US. But, at this point I am quite confused. A country can or cannot let anyone enter its borders and that is it's sovereign right. But also, convention demands that, a constitutional head be not barred except under rare circumstances. So, this is a picky issue.
